Pandle is bookkeeping software, meaning it helps business owners to keep a record of their transactions in a way that can be presented to stakeholders and can be used to produce accounts which can be turned into tax returns.

Pandle can produce accounting reports (i.e. profit and loss and balance sheets), but it cannot complete your tax return. To complete a tax return you will either need specialist third party software or an accountant. An accountant is recommended (especially if you have a limited company). They will ensure the bookkeeping you have completed is correct, and will be able to find ways to make your accounts more tax efficient to reduce your tax liability.

Making Tax Digital (MTD) will soon be introduced in the UK. This will be a quarterly submission which will replace the tax return. Pandle will be compatible with MTD so you will technically be able to complete all bookkeeping, accounts and tax submissions through Pandle at this time. However, it is always advisable to seek the help of a professional to ensure accurate submissions are made.
